It can range from threatening and insulting behaviour, minor assaults to serious injury or death, physical, psychological, sexual, financial or emotional abuse. It can be carried out by partners, ex-partners, same sex partners and other family members.

If you want to talk about it call the helpline on 08088 088 088 between 9am and 9pm, Monday to Friday and between 9am and 4pm Saturday to Sunday. This is a confidential Freephone number and will not appear on your phone bill.
