How much is your council tax?
Our table shows the council tax charges for each parish within Hertsmere for each band.
The percentage by which each charge has increased since last year is shown in the final column. The combined charge (the amount you will pay for your parish, borough, county and police - so the total for Hertsmere as a whole) is shown in the second part of the table.
Please note the breakdown of charges on the front of your council tax bill shows the different charges your council tax pays for, including Hertfordshire County Council, Hertsmere Borough Council, Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC), and Parish Council charge (excluding residents of Bushey and Potters Bar).
Hertsmere Borough Council’s share of the council tax has increased by an average of £5 (in Band D) per household for 2021/22, the same as last year. The PCC charge has increased by 7.6% to pay for more police on our streets. More details are contained within the PCC leaflet, Council Tax charges 2021 (PDF, 764kb)
