How often should we elect our councillors?

Hertsmere Borough Council is considering changing its current election cycle and we want to know what you think.

The present system is known as 'elections by thirds'. Most wards in Hertsmere have three councillors and voters in those wards will go to the polls three times over a four year period to elect one of those councillors.

We are seeking your views on whether to change to 'whole council' elections, which means all 39 councillors elected at the same time every four years.
