We have a number of small local recycling sites in our borough. The following banks are available at most of the locations below:

  • Textile bank (clothing and shoes)
  • Bra banks
  • Waste electrical banks (small electrical items and batteries)


Electrical items include anything with a plug or that takes batteries*. This includes hairdryers, shavers, irons, toasters, smaller laptops, fairy lights, etc. Plus the batteries themselves can be placed in the battery hole of the bank.

Many more materials can be recycled at your local Recycling Centre.
