An inquiry on a bid to deregister a village green in Borehamwood will be held in the new year after it was adjourned due to unforeseen circumstances.
The virtual inquiry, which is being conducted by the Planning Inspectorate on behalf of the Secretary of State, to consider an application submitted by Taylor Wimpey to deregister the village green at Woodcock Hill, west of Vale Avenue, and exchange it for a neighbouring area of land, will now be held from Monday 24 January and is expected to continue all that week. It will then be adjourned until Tuesday 15 March and carry on for another three days.
A number of individuals have indicated their intention to speak at the inquiry. Anyone else wishing to attend the inquiry online or by phone must register their interest as soon as possible by emailing the Pegasus Group, which represent Taylor Wimpey, at email@example.com.
Copies of the application form, accompanying documents and inquiry evidence may be inspected here.
Anyone without access to the internet, can inspect the documents at Hertsmere Borough Council's Civic Offices in Elstree Way, Borehamwood by appointment only. To make an appointment contact 0207 8207 2277.
