Have your say on communications

Last Modified December 04, 2023

We have launched a new online engagement platform this week (starting 4 December) with its first survey, aptly seeking views on how the authority communicates.

The survey is being carried out by our Corporate Communications team to understand how its audiences currently receive its news and what other methods could be beneficial to its users.

This is the first survey using the council’s new digital Engage platform, supplied by Zencity, which aims to ensure policies and decisions are resident-led, as well as enabling its communities to feel empowered to have their say in shaping the future of Hertsmere.

Cllr Jeremy Newmark, Leader of the Council and Portfolio Holder for Consultation, Communications and Asset Management, said: “As part of the new partnership administration’s commitment to being resident-led in our decisions and to listen and focus on your concerns, we've invested in a new digital consultation platform.

"It's fitting that our first consultation with our communities is on how we, as a council, communicate with you. I hope that people will take the time to complete our survey to tell us your thoughts and feelings about how you'd like us to consult and talk with you. We are here to listen and act upon the survey results, so please tell us what you think – the survey will take no more than 15 minutes to complete.

"We look forward to hearing your views."

The closing date for the online survey is Monday 15 January 2024.
