Severe weather emergency provision

Last Modified February 14, 2020

Weather warnings for Hertfordshire linked to Storm Dennis have led us to activate our severe weather emergency protocol provision.

A Yellow Warning for wind for all of Hertfordshire, which is valid from 10am Saturday until midnight on Sunday, was issued by the Met Office this morning.  Gusts of up to 55 mph are predicted during parts of the weekend.

In the light of this, we will be providing temporary accommodation for those who are rough sleeping in the borough and approach our Civic Offices in Borehamwood before 4pm today (14 February).

This accommodation will be provided for three nights.

Any questions go here.
