Members of the public have just under a month to comment on plans to build 52 homes on the site of a former pub in Borehamwood.
As landowners, we've submitted a full planning application for the potential development at the site of the former Directors Arms and garages, off Ripon Way. The plans are to build 34 one and two bedroom apartments in three and four storey high blocks and 18 two and four bed town houses. The application can be viewed by going website going here and searching for either Directors Arms or reference number 20/0784/FUL.

Among the application documents is a Design and Access statement. It gives details of the site – its layout, access arrangements, scale and massing, appearance, landscape strategy and sustainability.
Councillor Linda Silver, Chairman of our Planning Committee, said: “I would urge anyone who lives or works in the area, particularly those who think they might be directly affected, to take the time to view the proposal and give us your thoughts.
“You can view and submit your comments on the plans, without leaving your home, if you have a computer or a smartphone.
“During the continued coronavirus outbreak, we would urge everyone to use our online services, as our Civic Offices remain closed.”
Comments should be submitted before 13 July. A final decision on the application will be made later this year.
