A six-week period of engagement opened yesterday (Monday 11 October), offering everyone an opportunity to have their say on our draft Local Plan for Hertsmere.

We are aware of some issues with our engagement portal today (Tuesday 12 October) on which you may be wishing to submit full responses.
The problem relates to registration onto the system. Our Planning team has found a short-term solution and is activating accounts manually. We are then letting those who have registered know that their account has been activated so that they can then access the system and leave their comments. We are working with our suppliers so that the activation of accounts is automatic and instantaneous.
We are really sorry to anyone who has been trying to leave comments today who has been inconvenienced by this short-term glitch.
