Our civic offices will be closed on Monday 19 September to observe the national bank holiday in honour of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s state funeral.
Accordingly, waste collections will slip a day, meaning black bin collections will take place a day later as shown below.

Tuesday 20 September Wednesday 21 September
Wednesday 21 September Thursday 22 September
Thursday 22 September Friday 23 September
Friday 23 September Saturday 24 September

A book of condolence for Her Majesty The Queen will remain open at our Civic Offices in Borehamwood during office opening hours until 5.15pm on Tuesday 20 September should members of the public wish to contribute thoughts and reflections.
Floral tributes can be left at the flagpoles outside our Civic Offices.
We recognise that many communities may wish to come together and observe the funeral and note that the BBC has granted a TV License dispensation allowing communal settings where TV is not usually watched to screen the live programme without need to purchase a license.
