The museum is run by volunteers from Elstree and Borehamwood History Society who have come together to record, collect and interpret the history and archaeology of Borehamwood and Elstree. The museum contains a changing programme of displays on the local area.

If you would like to help with stewarding, archiving, displays and research please contact the Elstree and Borehamwood Museum.

The museum runs a free monthly reminiscence group ‘Going Down the Village’ for the over 60s in Elstree and Borehamwood.

To find out more about the group, watch our short film, where you can hear from David Armitage, Elstree and Borehamwood Museum Manager, and regular attendees, Betty and Brenda.

All meetings take place between 10.30am and 11.30am at 96 Shenley Road in Borehamwood.
