With over a hundred flagship parks in the county, there is so much more to see in Hertfordshire.
To help people make the most of our parks and open spaces, local authorities from around the county have developed ParksHerts, a web application for information about Hertfordshire’s parks and open spaces.
ParksHerts aims to encourage residents to make more of their valuable local space and visit parks they may not have previously explored, whilst also supporting people to make outdoor exercise part of their daily lives by finding places to enjoy and share with others.
ParksHerts users will be able to filter parks by a number of categories – including who is going to the park, what activities you’d like to do and the facilities offered. You will be encouraged to get active by using the wide range of walking, cycling, running and activity trails that exist across the county.
Local authorities supporting the scheme are: Hertsmere Borough Council, Broxbourne Borough Council, Stevenage Borough Council, Three Rivers District Council, Dacorum Borough Council, Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council, St Albans City and District Council, East Herts District Council and Watford Borough Council, alongside Hertfordshire County Council.
