Building control services are now provided by Hertfordshire Building Control Limited.
This is a company owned by seven Hertfordshire local authorities including Hertsmere Borough Council.
Hertfordshire Building Control ensure quality buildings and add value for customers and communities by leading the compliance process. Their remit is to protect the interests of property owners by ensuring that architects and builders operate in compliance with building regulations. They aim to do this in a consultative way to ensure that each project runs as smoothly as possible.
