The Community Infrastructure Fund (CIF) is a pool which we have collected from a levy on developers of new homes and other properties for improving local facilities and services. In recent years, the fund has been growing and we’re looking at innovative ways the money could be used.
The fund is available to help address shortfalls in delivering infrastructure improvements and priority will be given to projects where the Community Infrastructure Fund levers in additional funding from other sources.
We are inviting applications for a minimum of £5,000 worth of funding for capital projects that can be delivered straight away.
Guidance on how the council allocates the funding has been produced.
An early expression of interest for the 2018 funding round can be submitted which will provide an opportunity for feedback. These
should be submitted to the Planning and Economic Development service by Friday 9 April 2018. Alternatively, full applications can be submitted to us no later than Friday 1 June using the application form.
In the first instance, early expressions of interest can be discussed with the planning and economic development team on 020 8207 2277 or by emailing email@example.com
Applications must be submitted via the CIF Application Form
