Electors in the Bushey Park ward have had their say on who should next represent them on Hertsmere Borough Council. This by-election followed the death of Councillor Shailain Shah.
The result of Hertsmere Borough Council’s by-election has been announced.
The turnout for the election was 37.11 per cent. The results are as follows:
Katie ELMAN - Reform UK – 422 votes
Annabel Irene – HENNESSY - Liberal Democrats – 726 votes
John HUMPHRIES - Green Party - 61 votes
Robin Andrew SHORT - Labour Party – 50 votes
Linda SILVER - Conservative Party – 947 votes
Linda Silver, Conservative Party has been duly elected as councillor for Bushey Park Ward on Hertsmere Borough Council.
The results were announced by Returning Officer, Sajida Bijle, at the count in the Civic Offices, Elstree Way, Borehamwood this evening (Thursday, 25 June).
