Help shape the future of Bushey Country Club: Join our community-led transformation

The Bushey community is invited to participate in shaping the future of the former Bushey Golf and Country Club site. This community-led initiative aims to transform the largely unused site into a vibrant space that benefits everyone.

The vision for the site includes a landscape-led approach that prioritises community facilities, accessible green spaces, and thoughtfully designed homes. A significant proportion of the area will remain as publicly accessible open space, ensuring that it serves as a valuable resource for the local community.

Key elements of the emerging proposals include:

• A new community centre with art gallery, café and flexible community spaces

• A grassroots nursery and performing arts school

• A new commercial hub serving Bushey High Street

• High-quality homes, including 50% affordable housing

• Extensive public open space and biodiversity enhancements

• Improved walking and cycling connections to surrounding neighbourhoods
