Hertsmere Borough Council approve new Meadow Park lease with Boreham Wood Football Club

At last night's council meeting, Hertsmere Borough Council approved proposals for a new long-term lease with Boreham Wood Football Club at Meadow Park, supporting continued investment in the club and providing greater certainty over the future management of the stadium and its facilities.

Cllr Jeremy Newmark, Leader of the Council said:

“This agreement will be fairer to the Club, transparent for the taxpayer and properly recognise the massive community and economic benefit that Boreham Wood FC brings to this area. It’ll provide the club with greater long-term certainty to continue investing in Meadow Park, bringing pride to our place and achieving the sporting excellence that has epitomised the club in recent years.”
