Statement in response to the attack in Sydney

Following the attack at a Chanukah celebration in Sydney, we offer our deepest condolences to all those affected, and the wider Jewish community.

We have been in close contact with Hertfordshire Constabulary and welcome their commitment to increase their presence at Chanukah events across the borough.

No one should feel unsafe celebrating Chanukah.
