Disabled badge holders can park in resident permit bays for an unlimited amount of time, so long as their badge is displayed.
It should be noted this does not apply to limited waiting bays which are usually located close to shops or high streets. please view on street signage when parking to check you can park.
You can park on yellow lines, without a loading ban, with your disabled badge for a maximum of three hours. But you must display and set your clock and you cannot return within one hour. You can also park for free where there is pay and display or if you park in an on street disabled bay.
You can park for an unlimited amount of time in a disabled bay if there is no time limit on the sign. Where there is a time limit on the sign, usually on High Streets, you are restricted to this time and must display your clock.
You can park for free, for an unlimited amount of time, within Hertsmere car parks but you must display your blue badge.
