Nominations are open until 30 November 2026. Nomination of a person or a group for an award is through completion of a nomination form and will be judged by a panel.
Nominations can be received from any member of the community, including Councillors, paid workers and volunteers.

Alternatively, residents who need a printed paper form can request a copy by calling the Mayor's Office on 020 8207 7477. Or they can arrange to collect their copy from the civic office reception.

Last year's 2025/26 Civic Award Winners
Inspiring heroes have been recognised for their devotion and positive contributions to the local community at the Mayor of Hertsmere's Civic Award Ceremony.
The annual awards recognised the outstanding performance, activities and dedication of people and groups living and working in our local communities, who voluntarily give their time to improve the lives of Hertsmere residents.
