Hertsmere Creative Strategy

The Hertsmere Creative Strategy sets out our strategic approach to the development of culture and creativity in the borough and was developed during 2023.

The strategy looks at culture and creativity in its widest sense, including art, dance and heritage across formal and informal settings including the community and voluntary sector. It looks at audiences and participants at all levels and makes specific reference to the creative industries, skills gaps and development.

A full copy of the Strategy, which was adopted by the Council in January 2024 is available here:

We are now working on a robust delivery plan for the strategy recognising our need to develop internal capacity and work in partnership across the borough.
