Community groups and voluntary organisations are encouraged to apply for funding to help celebrate Hertsmere’s 50-year anniversary during 2024.
Organisations can apply for small grants up to £750 to support community events, small capital projects and organisation equipment, to mark Hertsmere’s anniversary.
Among the events that could be funded through this grant are community events celebrating Hertsmere and its communities; or parties for your organisations members. You could also choose to purchase small capital items, such as a bench or equipment that would have a lasting impact on the local community.
Councillor Christian Gray, Portfolio Holder for Communities, Neighbourhoods, Enforcement, Economic Development and Transformation Portfolio, said: “In providing this grant, we hope that we will be able to help local communities come together and celebrate the milestones and people who have made a difference to Hertsmere’s communities.
“We look forward to seeing a range of activities happening across the borough this coming year!”
