You should not use our Hertsmere Borough Council customer feedback procedure to comment on or complain about matters that are dealt with by Hertfordshire County Council. For example, public roads or street lights. You can call them on 0300 123 4040.
You can report to us everyday problems, such as a missed bin, an abandoned vehicle, fly tipping, graffiti, a noise nuisance, or a food hygiene concern.

To challenge a decision, please write to or email our relevant departments. For example:
- CPZ@hertsmere.gov.uk for a vehicle parking penalty charge notice
- Revenues@hertsmere.gov.uk for Council Tax or Business Rates, including discounts and payment exemptions
- Benefits@hertsmere.gov.uk for means-tested entitlement to Council Tax Support, or to Housing Benefit
- Homeless.Prevention@hertsmere.gov.uk for a homelessness application
- Housing.Options@hertsmere.gov.uk for a social housing register application.

You can make a complaint about a councillor.
