Statement on Meadow Park footpath closure

Last Modified March 10, 2017

A footpath in Meadow Park in Borehamwood has been closed until further notice, while discussions continue over the removal of a leaning fence with its owners.

A council spokesman said: “While the fence remains the responsibility of the owners, we have taken steps to protect members of the public. This has involved putting up support posts, netting and warning signs informing the public that the footpath is closed.

“We will continue to monitor the situation and liaise with the owners to ensure that this situation is resolved as soon as possible.”

The footpath is located off Meadow Road along the boundary with the park. For further information email parks@hertsmere.gov.uk or call 020 8207 2277.
